Heavora's story starts in 1942, when Kiran's great-grandfather planted the first coffee on what is now the family estate in Sakaleshpura, in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. Four generations later, that same land is still farmed by the family, coffee grown under native forest shade, in a region known for high-altitude estates, heavy monsoon rainfall, and biodiverse growing conditions that shape the character of every cup.
Heavora Coffee was founded to bring that estate to international buyers directly. It's a family-run company: Geetha M P leads Heavora, with her son Kiran Mahesh coordinating exports and buyer relationships from London, keeping sourcing, quality, and communication connected between the estate and the people who buy from it.
That closeness is the foundation of how we work. The people growing the coffee are family, not a sourcing relationship managed at arm's length. Every lot we export can be traced back to where it came from, because we're not buying coffee from a region. We're exporting coffee from our own land.
Heavora supplies green coffee beans and roasted coffee to roasters, cafés, distributors, and retail brands internationally, handling documentation, sample shipping, and logistics for buyers across the UK, Europe, and beyond. We hold FSSAI, APEDA, ISO, and Origin Certification, along with other certifications as required by individual buyers, and we work with both first-time importers exploring Indian origin coffee and established roasters who need a consistent, dependable supply chain.
Operating between Sakaleshpura and London means we understand both ends of this trade: what it takes to grow and process coffee at origin, and what international buyers expect on documentation, consistency, and communication.
